WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ? (JESUS CHRIST)
Description
WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?
Our time on earth is very short! Each closing year, each setting sun, each tick of the clock is shortening our days on earth and surely carrying us on to eternity. The moment will soon arrive which will close our lives on earth and begin either a song in heaven or a wail in hell. "You don't even know what your life tomorrow will be! You are like a puff of smoke, which appears for a moment and then disappears" (James 4:14).
You may be busy at work, your eyes are seeing, your mind is thinking, you are planning for the future. …And tomorrow all is gone! Are you prepared for eternity? Where will you spend it? Heaven or Hell. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:36-38).
For what are you living? Where are you going? Do you want to meet God with your soul unsaved? Do you think a holy God will admit you to heaven in your sins?
"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. … For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3: 5-7,16-18)
The choice is yours today! "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36).
God says if you are trusting Jesus Christ completely for your salvation, you have everlasting life. You are not going to have it someday. You have it now. John 3:18 says: "He that believeth on him is not condemned." In this passage He promises that the person who is trusting Jesus Christ completely for salvation is no longer under the sentence. The sentence has been lifted. He is not condemned. He does not have to pay the sin debt. It has been paid for him.
What better assurance can you have than God's own Words? It is impossible for God to lie (Heb. 6:18). Trust Him today for your salvation. The worst sin is not trusting Jesus Christ as Saviour, and that is the only sin for which a man will go to Hell. Have you given your life to Him? Do you want to do that now? Will you trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?
If you will trust Him pray this simple prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I do believe that You died for me. Please forgive me of all my sins and I do trust You as my Saviour. Now help me to live for You and to be a good Christian. Amen. If you prayed this simple prayer and mean it from your heart, then you may be sure that you have everlasting life and you will never perish. That is what Jesus promised and He cannot lie.
For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (Corinthians 5:10)
