Vw baywindow t2,deal for a t3 LLE ,blue,white,red star Hanover edition

Vw baywindow t2 1976 2.0l type 4 engine ,

This bay was imported from oz in 2005 so it's a rhd and has survived better than most out there ,it has had a bit of welding done last year but this was the first time it had been welded so it's not patch on patch , 

Work done 

Inner and outer sills x2
Jacking point repair x1 
Cab floor and step repairs 
Front inner rear wheel arch repairs 
Battery tray and rear corner 
Rear inner arch repair 

Was then under coated in wax oil 

The outside is best described at rat look it does have surface rust but nothing deep ,it was my intention to respray the van but I never got round to it and I kinda liked the original look of it ,at least the buyers can see what's what and it's amazing what can hide under a fresh paint job,the parts that I had to weld I rattled canned them just to do as a temporary repair and make the van all one colour 

The engine has just had a rebuild with new barrels ,piston s and new heads ,New electronic dizzy ,New leads,plugs ,fuel pump ,filters etc , also a new twin Weber 32/36 carb kit was fitted ,

Suspension has been redone as well with t2d rear spring plates fitted ,New bushes etc ,up front it's got a lowered front beam on adjusters ,New balls joints and track rods last year ,also has a full set of blistein shockers ( not cheap for this van ) 

Inside it's got a homemade interior,it's got 240v system ,no cooker or water ,never cooked in it as u will smell that bacon buttie for weeks after 

It does need a few things looking at ,it could really need a good tune to get the most out of the new carb as it does have a flat spot low down the revs but once u on the gas it's fine and pulls well ,

Frame on sliding door needs welding ,I have brand new window and seal waiting to go in after that done (included in the sale )

Drivers door handle a bit stiff 


It's an old van but has plenty of character ,it's rock solid with no nasty filler horror s that u will find when u get it home also has loads of history with it from here and oz and has had a ton of money been spent on it ,only selling as I use it all the time ,camping ,shopping ,school runs ,tip runs and I really think I need something a bit more modern and bigger
