Hello, I am Charlotte and I work at Cayton Bay Holiday Park. My role here is to give all potential customers the information they need to make a decision on potentially owning a holiday home, I also assist the park and its caravan owners in selling and buying static caravans. I tend to find potential customers have lots of questions regarding the following: Site fees (whats included and how much they are?), funding options (is it cash, finance or do people have to find their own methods of credit?) and lately most people have started to ask what’s going to happen if I want to buy? There is so much information for the above that if I was to list it all you’d be here for days reading it. So if you would like to know something in particular, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Our Holiday Homes come with everything you would need to get up and running for the 2016 season. This includes annual site fees, connections, insurance and TV Ariel. You have a choice of location on the park also and there are no extra or hidden costs!
FUNDING
With regards to purchasing a chosen holiday home and means of payment there are more than enough options for you to choose from. The most common method is with one of our caravan flexible funding packages where just a 10% deposit will secure your chosen location and holiday home. There are four different funding providers available and two of those will also consider customers where a chequered or bad credit history may be involved.
PARK DETAILS
Cayton Bay is situated on the cusp of the North Yorkshire Coast and neighbouring the lively, sea-side town of Scarborough.
With its magnificent wide sweeping bay, year-round dog-friendly beach, clean water, parking and great facilities, Cayton Bay is a beautiful place to explore, no matter what time of the year you decide to visit.
A favourite with surfers, bird watchers, fun-seekers and fossil hunters, or those who just want to relax and unwind, Cayton Bay, nestled in-between the famous resorts of Scarborough and Filey, is an area of unspoilt natural beauty and makes an ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Coast.
Walk along the edges of the cliffs and discover a variety of fossils, millions of years old. You will see rocks formed in the upper Jurassic period around 150 million years ago. Fossils found in this area include Gastropod, (a close relation of modern winkles and snails), Colonial Coral, Starfish and a group of Trigonia bivalves.
The beach has been regularly awarded the ENCAMS Seaside Award and will be flying the distinctive blue and yellow flag. Cayton Bay beach is also Marine Conservation Society Recommended and one of only 105 British Isle beaches awarded the Quality Coast Award.
There are endless amounts of activities for all ages on the holiday park and in the local area.
From going wild for at the indoor Waterworld Fun Pool with water-jets, slides, fountains and flume to a beautiful scenic stroll along Scarborough's infamous promenade, there are plenty of things to be doing during those much appreciated leisure breaks.
Outside activities include an all-weather multi-sports court, an adventure playground, volleyball and basketball, plus a crazy golf course to keep the whole family happy. In the evening you can enjoy the brilliant cabaret, discos, dancing and lots more in The Oasis Showbar, all of which are a stones throw from the popular seaside town of Scarborough.
