Description
LS10 2RS
The house is a mid terrace house but not the back to back type and the living room faces a rail enclosed park area which is kept tidy by the Council.
Don't want to put loads of pics up of the inside of the house as sadly not everyone has the right intentions so....
The living room is a living room except with an outside door for the back, this can put people off and we did ask if we could build a porch area on the outside of it when we first moved in 18 and a half years ago for the added security and we were told we could but we never did. We don't use this door, it's a secure door and no-one has ever tried to get in this way except our kids when they couldn't be bothered walking around to the front. The garden on this side is small-ish and has always been kept low key as we used the garden on the other side to sit in.
There is a long hallway with a coat cupboard at the bottom of the stairs and space under the stairs that we have cupboard units, box bookshelves and a filing cabinet in and another cupboard that the old boiler used to be in.
The kitchen is the kitchen diner type, the kitchen part is the bigger and has 11 units, space for the cooker, a washer, a dryer, a fridge/freezer and a bin. The diner has room for a table and 6 chairs plus a 3ft wide wall unit.
Upstairs is a long landing with 2 cupboards, one of them holds the boiler but still has room for some storage.
The toilet, not big.
The bathroom, a little bigger with a new over bath shower.
Our smallest bedroom fits a single bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a small set of drawers (when our son was younger we used a high sleeper bed so there was more floor space).
Our Middle bedroom holds the same again but with more floor space and has a walk in wardrobe (a lot of people knock out the wall of the walk in to make the bedroom bigger) we also had bunks in this room, at the moment we have a double bed, a travel cot, 2 small bookcases and a desk in it as well as the walk in.., not really much floor space though to be honest.
The big bedroom is just that, double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobes, drawers etc.
Outside there is a brick outhouse which has 2 areas of storage both lockable and separate bit for the energy meters. In the garden at this side we took out the grass in preference to plants when the kids got older but this can easily be put back.
Both gardens are fenced, one side about 3.5ft and the other 5ft
The house has been fully rewired and insulated (no big bills, warm in winter/cool in summer) and there is also an alarm.
There isn't a drive but there is a car park out front.
The area is quiet and trouble free with good neighbours the kind that let you keep yourself to yourself if you want to.
Now hoping you are still awake, lol, the house isn't massive, the downstairs is bigger, the upstairs will seem smaller even though it's not as it has the extra bedroom. We also haven't decorated for a while but it's tidy, most people want to decorate to their own taste anyway when they move house
Would prefer an end or semi but not essential however it must have a decent size garden. Looking for parts of Morley, LS10, White rose end of Beeston or parts of North Leeds (ls 5,6,7,8,16,17,18), NOT interested in Chapeltown, Harehills, Gipton, Seacroft.
Council to Council ONLY
