Full time Groom or Groom/Rider for successful stud/competition yard

Godington Stud located 4 miles NW of Bicester is the premier competition stud for Trakehners in Great Britain. We have around 30 horses on site including all breeding and competition stock. We breed and compete our Trakehners from novice to 4* eventing and Advanced dressage. We also do some show jumping. We need to appoint another member to our friendly team. We are looking for either a competent groom who can assist with all stable duties including exercise as well as helping out with backing our youngsters. For ambitious riders there is a chance to school and compete our homebred horses to the very top level if that is how it works out. We are seeking only committed applicants who are prepared to be ultra reliable as every team member here counts.
This is a six day a week job. There is NO ACCOMMODATION but past staff have found it easy to find good and reasonably priced local rented accommodation. Whilst we are not far from Bicester/Buckingham people working here need to have their own transport as there is no public transport nearby. We pay between £17,971.00 and £19,219.00 p.a. depending on experience and ability. Free lunch is provided daily as well as free farm produce.
